    Lewis Carroll Joins Children's Literature

    Lewis Carroll and other authors were the first of their kind to make books for children's entertainment. Most of the books coming to America were instructional, now children could let their imaginations run wild as they read stories that were fun and exciting. Carroll's two popular books, "Alice in Wonderland" and "Alice through the looking glass" were reprinted in this time.
