    he also developed the frist complete theory of blood circulation.
    he was born on april 1 1578 and died June 3 1657, he was 79.

    No one acually knows when Janssen made the frist microscope, but we have a pretty good idea, he invented it around 1590-1595. But we think that vhe invented it so that he could counterfit coins better
  • Robert Hook

    Robert Hook
    Robert was orn on the 28 of july 1635. He made hooke's law for the force of springs, and he died on 3 of march 1703, he was 67.
    Nobody knows what he looked like, the only portrait of him was lost after he died.
    There is one portrait that some people think to be him him, but others think the man to be 'Jan Bapist van Helmont'
  • Carl Linnaeus

    Linnaeus has many names, Father of Moden Taxonomy and he is considered one of the fathers of ecology. He was as botanist, zoologist and a physicain.
    His author abbreviation in Botany is L., he is also famous for his contributation in ecology, taxonomy and botany.
    He was born on May 23 1707 and died on Jan. 10 1778, he was 70.

  • Jean-Baptiste Lamarck

    When he retired, he started to work again on medical studies. after a few years he became interested in botany and he published three volumes of "Flore Francais." Then he got a membership of the "French Academey of Science," When the "Museum National d'Histoire Naturalle" opened he was appointed professor of zoology.
    He was born Aug 11744 and died Dec 18 1829
  • Mattias Jacob Schleiden

    Schleiden was a German botanist, who also helped with the Cell theory. He and Schwann ( a German physiologist) was the first people in the world to say that there are tiny ceatures, smaller then the eye can see, are living in our every day life.
    He was born on Apr 5 1804 adn died June 23 1881, eh was 77.

  • Charles Robert Darwin

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_DarwinCharles was an English naturalist and geoligist. He was best known for his discoverys of Evolutionary Theory.
    He went to the University Cambridge to study marine invertebrates, which made him interested in Natural Science.
    He had a five year voyage on the HMS Beagle, that made him an eminent geologist, whos observations and theories supported Charles Lyell's uniformitarian ideas, his journal, on the Beagle was published and became he became a famous author.
    He died on Apr 19 1882.

    Theodor was a German physiologist, who helped with the Cell theory. His main discovery was the "Peripheral Nervous System." Which is to conect your Central Nervous System to your limbs and organs.

    He was born on Dec. 7 1810 and died Jan. 11 1882, he was 71.

    Virchow was known for his relationship with "The Cell Theory" but he was also known for the first to discover "Leukemia" and the invention for new medicines.
    He was born on Oct 13 adn died on Sept. 5 1902, he was 80.

  • Alfred Russel Wallace

    Alfred was a British explorer, geogragher, bioligist, anthropologist and naturlist. hes best known for his discovery of natural selection and his work in bioligy.
    He was also one of the centrys leading expert on geograghical distribution and animal speices, some people call him the Father of biogeography.
    He was born on Jan 8 1823 and he died on Nov 7 1913.
