This is the first dynasty in Chinese history. Xia dynasty was the first to cast bronze for a to build a strong army. It had used oracle bones and calender's. It is thought that most of the Xia people probably inhabited the western area of Henan Province and southern Shanxi Province.

Shang Dynasty
Is the second dynasty in Chinese history. The Shang dynasty led to new numerous cultural advances. Some examples are they industrialized bronze castings, the calendar, writing and other religious rituals. The first kings name is Tang. He started to work people for their country instead of his own pleasure. The men who helped build a stable environment, this was continued for 600 years. But the have lost the mandate of heaven.

Zhou Dynasty
This is the third dynasty and it lasted the longest out of all the dynasty's. The Zhou dynasty was separated into two periods. Western Zhou (1046-711 BC) and Eastern Zhou (770-256 BC). The Zhou capital was moved eastwards so it was safe from invasion. At the end of this dynasty they had a movement of the intellectual and artistic awakening.

Confucius
Confucius was a a Chinese teacher, polotitioner,editor and philosopher of the spring and autumn period of Chinese history. His real name was Kong Qui . The teachings were preserved in Analects.Confucianism later became the official imperial philosophy of China, and was extremely influential during the Han, Tang and Song dynasties. Confucius was born into a royal family of the Chou Dynasty.

Legalism
It was developed by the philosopher Han Feizi (c. 280 - 233 BCE) who drew on the earlier writings of the Warring States Period of China (476 - 221 BCE) by a Qin statesman named Shang Yang (died 338 BCE). Legalism became the official philosophy of the Qin Dynasty (221 - 206 BCE) when the first emperor of China, Shi Huangti, rose to power and banned all other philosophies as a corrupting influence.

Qin dynasty
The Qin dynasty was brief in duration (221-206 BCE) but very important in Chinese history. Despite its brevity, the Qin dynasty left important marks on Chinese culture.
