No Child Left Behind was a very rigorous accountability system. It is very important to education as it holds schools accountable for fixing the unequal educational achievement of all types of students. It also ensures that teachers are qualified for the subject they are teaching. -
Individuals Disabilities Education Act
Most recently amended in 2004, the Individuals Disabilities Education Act ensures that public education is free to students with disabilities. It also ensures there are programs in the publics schools that meet the needs of students with disabilities. This Act is incredibly important in ensuring that children with disabilities have access to programs and a successful education.
