    Intelligence testing helped pave the way by providing a way for equal opportunity for all students no matter their mental ability. This testing allowed for teachers to understand which children needed special education help and focus. It has allowed for more methods to enter the school curriculum and equality for all students since each child is completely different and learns at different rates and ways.

    Brown v. Board of Education
    This helped pave the way for children to interact with each other and learning about different cultures within those built relationships. Socializing is an important part for children attending school mentally and emotionally, in which race and ethnicity should not be why students cannot get equal opportunities for it goes against the constitution.

    An open classroom helped pave the way to current education by providing student with real life study and getting more access to research and information for learning. As allowed another opportunity for children to learn how they learn best and advancements in technology and self-paced learning.

    Nation at Risk Report
    The Nation at Risk Report helped pave the way to current education by creating a curriculum that will allow for success in real world jobs with the basic skills needed. Allowed for students to be literate for the economic side and to be able to comprehend real world work scenarios.
  • No Child Left Behind Act

    No Child Left Behind Act
    NCLB helped pave the way in current education by changing how the educational system is using the outcomes of students and what needs to be changed within the curriculum to allow success for all students. Allows for school districts to really care about who they are hiring so the students are more likely to learn more and retain the material.
