Black Tuesday, start of Great Depression
Who: The event of Black Tuesday affected the people of the United States of America.
What: Black Tuesday was the beginning of the biggest stock market crash in the early 1900's and started the Great Depression.
When: when panicked sellers traded nearly 16 million shares on the New York Stock.
Where: Black Tuesday refers to October 29,1929.
Why: After the war ended everyone felt free,and do anything.

The Great Depression
Who: Nine thousand banks failed during the months.
What: The stock market crashed in a big way. Many people were homeless and had no jobs.
When: The Great Depression started at October 29, 1929.
Where: The Great Depression was an economic slump in North America, Europe.
Why: The depression was caused by a number of serious weaknesses in the economy.
Interesting Fact: During that week the total lost was $30 billion. Many people commited suicide by jumping from window in New York City. -
World War 2
Who: The Allies and Axis
What: World War 2 was Britain's toughest war. Involving a total of 61 countries, WWII claimed 50 million lives, 100s of million sustained injuries-1.7 billion were involved.
When: WWII started on 1st of September, 1939.
Where: Battles took place in Africa, Europe and Asia.
Why: WWI was actually one of the causes of WWII. After Germany lost WWI.
Interesting Fact: It is estimated 1.5 million children died during the Holocaust. 1.2 million were Jewish, Gypsies. -
Victory over Japan Day
Who: United States dropped atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
What: It was announced that Japan had surrendered unconditionally to the Allies.
Where: Took place aboard the U.S.S. Missouri, anchored in Tokyo Bay.
Why: By 1970s, multiple American scholars adopted the dominant Japanese point of view, arguing that the atomic bomb was unnecessary because Japanese would have surrendered by end of 1945.
Interesting Fact: It has been 72 years since Japan officially surrendered in 1945.
