Death of Henry VIII
Henry died at the age of 55 in Whitehall Palace. He had suffered from a long range of ailments, mostly having to do with his obesity and the festering ulcers he developed on his legs. Following his death, Edward came to the throne. He and Mary ruled for a while, but in the end it was Elizabeth that made the biggest impact on England with her 45 years reign.
