  • Leadership

    Helen have set an example for young, upcoming philosophers. She served as President of the Philosophy of Science in 2013-2014. Then became the First Vice President of the Division of Logic, Methodology and Philosophy of Science and Technology of the International Union of History and Philosophy of Science in 2016-2019.

  • Feminist Philosophy of Science

    Helen's work had finally paid off. Helen won the Caucus Prize in Feminist Philosophy of Science because of her book Studying Human Behavior: How Scientist Investigate Aggression and Sexuality. Helen has been active in women liberation since the late 1960s which is what helped her want to work in this field.
