    Specific Goal

    When setting a specific goal for yourself you need to take thing into consider talon. Also you have to answer the "w" questions. Those are "Who: What: Where: When: Which: Why:
    Who is involved?
    What do I want to accomplish? Identify a location.
    Establish a time frame.
    Identify requirements and constraints. Specific reasons, purpose or benefits of accomplishing the goal" (Goal Setting Skills pg. 4).

    Measurable

    When making health plan you have to take things into certain consideration, like "how". Measurable is what you will use the "how" for. You want to "Establish concrete criteria for measuring pro- gress toward the attainment of each goal you set"(Goal Setting Skills pg.4).

    Attainable

    To attain a goal you have to set goals that are important to you and figure out ways for them to come true. Making sure you maintain these goals are the key. You also must "plan your steps wisely and establish a time frame that allows you to carry out those steps"(Goal Setting Skills pg.5).

    Realistic

    You must set a goal for yourself is realistic. Mean you must be able to achieve it. You must also be willing to work toward the goal, making it realistic.

    Timely

    A goal must have timeframe or timeline. You have to make it sturdy. With no timeline there is no urgency in your goal. And you need that.

    My Goal

    My Goal it to regularly be eating healthier by my vacation in a month. I don't really eat that healthy now and I really should be. I need to do it because being athlete I need to be eating healthier. My strength is that when I set my mind to something I am really determined. My risk is that I don't like a lot of food so It is going to be a challenge.
