Blow-flies were present. Skull was slightly smashed, not intestines or organs were present. Brain was intact, mostly in skull. Spine appeared to be broken. All other bones appeared to be intact.

Hank's first day of progress
No bones visible. Skull fracture is still broken. The mandible had started to seep the brain remains out of it. The mandible moved downward. There were blow-flies circling around the head. There were Field Ants near the tail and lower body. Also known as 'Formica Integra' The opening of the orifice was two centimeters wide. There were roughly 5 flies circling the body, and no maggots were found.

Hank's second day
No bones visible. We found his body had grown stiff. His tail was the most brittle piece of his body. The blow-flies had mostly dissipated to other carcasses. The ants had migrated up his body, and taken refuge in his brain matter. The opening in his skull had grown to three centimeters. All brain matter has left his body. Gnats were present.

Hanks third day
No bones visible. Mandible moved downward. Hanks body's odor is now over powering. The stench can't be contained by the container. There were ants that have built a small ant pile around the skull material. The body is deflated, as if there isn't any matter in the skin carcass. The ants have also opened a new area in the bottom of the squirrel's back. Blow-flies remain the same, around two or three.

Hank's seventh day
No bones visible. A pack of dogs had gotten to a lot of the dead animals. Hank's lower body was flatted and some skull remains had disappeared. The ants have built an ant pile on the middle of the body. The tail and lower back of Hank has been disconnected from the body, but still remains within the vicinity. Blow-flies were completely absent, and the mouth orifice has shrived to two and a half centimeters. 96.9731° W 32.9719° N

No bones visible. Ants have hidden under the carcass and are no longer visible when looking surface level. Inside of the body has left the skin, and the body has flattened and turned to a mushy texture. The mouth orifice is two and a half centimeters wide, and the lips and cheeks have hardened. There were still no blow-flies present. Stench was overwhelming and the heat is present

No bones visible. We found that his body is completely flat, still missing maggots because there are no blowflies. Ants have increased in number. The smell has actually subsided. The weather was slightly damp outside, and not hot. The ants have made a second anthill near the base of the corpse. The mouth orifice is still two centimeters.
