When I arrived in Gridley in 2012 the classrooms generally appeared as they did in the 19th century without teacher access to technology. -

In 2013 we provided each classroom teacher with a teacher workstation cocnnected to a projector or flatscreen and document camera. -

In 2014 we added Chromebook carts and teacher Google for Education certification to facilitate project-based Common Core instruction. -

GUSD goes 1:1 technology in all classrooms. -

Gridley High School becomes a "digital high school" which includes non-traditional learning enviroments and spaces for students which utilize project-based learning, online learning as well as traditional group learning. -

Sycamore Middle School becomes a "digital school" which includes non-traditional learning enviroments and spaces for students which utilize project-based learning, online learning as well as traditional group learning. -
State of Technology 2019
Gridley High School students work exclusively in career-oriented technology internships in local businesses in the areas of technology, manufacturing, and Agri-business. -
State of Technology 2020
Students particpate in virtual learning environments including virtual classrooms and virtual career exploration experiences.
