    Bush vs. Gore
    The presidential election between Bush(R) and his running mate Gore(D) was considered to be one of the mos closest and controversial races so far. when it came to the final votes in Florida, Bush won by 537 votes. Gores supporters were not happy so they asked the Florida state Supreme Court to do another recount. The U.S. Supreme Court founded this strategy to be illegal. Thus making Bush the winner and Gore his V.P.

    On this day, September 11th, there were attacks both on the Twin Towers and the Pentagon. Nearly 3,00 people died in the World Trade center attack and 200 people dies in the attack on the Pentagon. Both of these acts were acts of terrorism that were ran by Al Qaeda leader, Osama Bin Laden. as a result of this attack the World Trade centers fell down because a hijacked plane flown into them.

    Today the U.S. and Mexico signed a new protocol that amends an existing bilateral income-tax treaty between the two nations, This agreement provided a significant reduction in the taxes on divides and helped facilitate a cross-border trade and investment. This protocol is only the 3rd U.S. tax agreement to have provided a 0 rate withholding tax and if dividends own 10% of something then this would not qualify. The maximum is 5% or under of withholding tax.

    The date was February 20th, 2003 in the after noon round 4-5 pm. That day was the day I became a big brother to my little sister Abby and I was about 2. My sister Abby would now be the youngest in the family and not me. Having a little sister is actually a good thing because now i have someone who will respect me and look up to me, that means I have to be more resposible.

    On this day the United States had one of worst blackouts in American History. The blackout was caused by a series of electrical mishaps and it affects people for up to two days. The blackout stretched through the Midwestern states of Ohio and Michigan to Ontario, Canada, and New York and affected about 50 million people. 50 million people without power had to live like the Amish everything hand wash and drying clothes out for those 2 days.

    On September 5th the powerful Tropical storm Ivan turns into hurricane Ivan and ends up becoming a Category 4. Hurricane Ivan ran through Alabama, Louisiana, Florida, Jamaica, Cuba, Texas, Venezuela, Eastern United States. This hurricane ends up being one of the most devastating hurricanes ever recorded in the U.S. and with damages costing up too $14.2 billion. Winds near 120 mph as it was settling down in Alabama, which caused homes to be destroyed and loved ones die.

    On a Monday morning in Louisiana, on August 29, 2005 a devastating category 3 hurricane slammed into the American Golf Coast. This devastating storm claimed over 100 deaths and over a billion dollars in property damage. Houses were flooded, prices in gas raises and about 80% of the city of New Orleans was submerged. More then 25,000 people took shelter in the Superdome. People lost loved ones and their houses with memories that could nevber be replaced.

    My best friend
    On this day in my life, my friend since since I was one years old moved to Upper Dublin and then my other this stranger moved into her house. Who know that the stranger, Carly Morginstin, would be my best friend, and since that day in my life we have been best friends doe about ten years. We went on Wawa runs, we walk to school everyday together for the past 4 years. So far we hsve been friends for 10-11 years.

Being the 3rd most populated country can come with difficulties because there might be more people then jobs available, so that means that people wont get jobs to be able to support there family and their financial problems

    Williamsburg, Va
    This year in April of 2008 I went on a historical trip to Wiliamsburg, Virgina. It was my family and I, and also my uncle on my moms side came along too with his 2 daughters and wife. During this trip we explored the town of colonial Williamsburg. I also got a green monkey and I named it Wawa. The placed we stayed at had a pool with a waterfall in it and it was indoor, so as to a 7 year old kid it was considered to be awesome. My brothers and I also got pictures in the pillory.

He beat his opponent, John McCain, with a landslide victory of 365 electoral college votes to 173. People had some doubts saying that President Obama was not born in the United States, he was born in Hawaii and at the time he was born Hawaii was considered to be the 50th state of the U.S.

  • 2nd Time in Disney

    2nd Time in Disney
    The 2nd time i went to was the most memorable because the first time i went to Disney World it was 2001, so I was a baby. When my family + my cousins and I went it was extremely hot. Our hotel had an awesome pool and i remember i once had a blueberry muffin from the pool bar and it was honestly the best blueberry muffin I ever had. I went on all the rides with my older brothers, but my little sister who was 7 at the time couldn't go on as many rides.

    Osama Bin-Laden Dies
    On this day Osama Bin-Laden, the leader of the terrorist group known as Al-Qaeda, was killed. Bin-Laden was the one who took the credit for the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon on 9/11. In the year 2011, American intelligent operatives tracked Bin-Laden to a large compound, in Pakistan, that seemed to be his hideout. President Obama ordered an elite team of special forces to go and raid his hideout. The Elite Forces shot Bin-Laden to death.

Sandy made landfall on the east coast on October 29th, 2012 and went through New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey the hardest. more then 8 million people lost there power, 100 deaths, and more than $30 billion in damages.

Adam Lanza is the one who is responsible for the shooting, in the process he killed 26 innocent people (20 students ages 6-7 and 6 six teachers). The teachers who died, they dies has heroes trying to protect there students from harm. This day was a horrible day for everyone especially for those who lost loved ones. Due to this event schools upgraded there security.

    It was that time of year again the state of Boston, the Boston Marathon. It was around 2:49, with more than 5,600 runners still in the race, two bombs hidden in backpacks that were placed on the ground amidst crowds of marathon watchers and within seconds of each other near the finish line. Everyone was running either away from the bomb or running to go help the victims of the bombing. On this day about 260 wounded 16 without legs and 3 spectators died. It was horrible.

    On this day in my life I started my first day in the 7th grade at The Abington Junior High School, the first day of the junior high was not all as bad as i thought it was. I made so many nice and funny friends on the first day and i have a unlocking of our locks competition with my Andy, Anna, Miguel, and Jamari. Andy was the first one to open his lock because my lock was not opening for me.Through out the rest of the year I made new friends and had a time being a 7th grader,
  • Paris, France

    Paris, France
    The day I went to Paris, France was one the most exciting experiences of my life. It was payed for by my wonderful Nana and it was the first time I was ever out of the country. I saw and ate in the Eiffel Tower, I saw the Notre-Dam Cathedral, and i also saw the l'Arc de Triomphe. The food was amazing and my favorite pastry was and still is the eclair. I swear I could eat about 5 of those things a day and when we had to leave France i got really sad.

    U.S. Case of Ebola!
    This day represented the day that a man who travailed to Libra, then left September 19th, arrived in the United States on the 20th. 4 days after the man came back to the United States he started to feel ill and experienced the symptoms of the Ebola virus. It wasn't till the 26th when the man went to get help at the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital, were he was then put into isolation to prevent the virus from spreading. The CDC technically ordered isolation for the man.

    It was the summer of the year 2015 and I got a job or technically it was a volunteer job at my old camp I went to as a kid called The Abington Club Kids Camp. I worked there basically the while summer, until i went down for the beach. I was in the Yellow group which was considered 1 of the smaller aged groups. You see Orange group ages 3.5-4, Yellow ages 5-6, Blue ages 7-8, Red ages 9, and Green ages 10-12. During my time, I swam, played games took the kids to the bathroom, and ate with them.

    This day represents a battle between who have wanted to do this right for a long time, the legalization of same sex marriage in all 50 states. It was a 5-4 decision, the U.S. Supreme Court rules that the Constitution grants that gay people be able to get married in the United States. This allows people of the same sex to get married, adopt a child, and live happily together like they always dreamed.

    On the day of May 22, 2016, I got confirmed into the Christ Lutheran Church in Oreland, Pa. It was 8 years in the making because I started Sunday school there when i was in 2nd grade. on my Confirmation I had to write a little creed that i would then follow as years go on. I had to go to Sunday school and church almost every Sunday and i went on weekend mission trips with my confirmation class. We once went to Cradle to Crayons to fill out wish baskets for little kids and new mothers in need.

    This day represented the day that I turned 16 and the day I got my permit. The day started out nice even though I had a cold, it was a nice sunny and windy day. I went to I-Hop, with my Mom and sister, and my dad was in Nashville. After breakfast i went back home took a nap, and at around 1-ish my mom and i went to the DMV Hunningtion Valley.I wait for about 30 minuets and then i took my permit were i passed with a score 16/18. So in 6 months i will have my actual license (hopefully).
