Gosu (Season 1)

The story

1 CE

An old man named Doko Yong talks about how he was betrayed by his 4 disciples and used to be the strongest martial artist in the martial arts world (Murim). He's telling his current disciple all about things so that his diciple can avenge him.

Rampage

He was released from prison after going on a killing spree, he helped some people that were getting attacked but his blood lust got out of control and he ended up killing everybody around him.

A job

Gang Ryong (mc) gets help from a girl named Song Yeri and then soon he starts working at their in as a delivery boy.

Rock Paper Scissors

He met this person that he did not know was a criminal at that time. The criminal was addicted to rock paper scissors so they played a game and it was the first time the criminal lost. A bit later the guy was causing trouble around the area so Gang Ryong went and beat up his crew

Celestial Maid

It talks about the past of the Celestial Maid, she was a very strong shaman. She was known around the world and people from other kingdoms would come to seek help. Before she died she gave birth to a child that inherited all her powers. In the story, the child's name is Song Yeri.

So Hong

The story introduced the character So Hong, he is a strong warrior and at the age of 15 killed an entire squad, and is known as the person that killed one of the 10 great martial arts masters.

The Monk

The monk that is now in hiding is the person he's after since his parent were killed by the monk.

Encounter

Gang Ryong was next to them and interfered when So Hong was trying to kill the monk and had no idea what was going on, and that's how they first met.

The Truth

So Hong is massacring them after the man that raised him had died. One of them had lived long enough to tell him the truth of his past and parents, although not believing it all. It was also revealed that the monk did not kill his parents.

Invitation

So Won gets invited by the White Horse Squad after he destroyed the heaven and earth society single-handedly and made their plans harder. (Despite the word squad in the name it's a huge group of mercenaries)

Gha Woobok

Gha Woobok is a character that gets introduced as somebody that wants to be a merchant but sucks at it. Whenever people find out about his past and what he did people would always react with fear.

Former Member

While out on a job Woobok went to one of his client's houses, the client seemed to be getting attacked by some people so he went to help them. Somebody from the group recognized Woobok as a former member of the White Horse squad, he was known as the Grim Reaper and ran away in fear. As per usual his clients got scared again knowing his past.

Hostage

Woobok came back to his family being held hostage because he unknowingly interfered with the White Horse Squad after he retired. Orders were to kill Woobok and bring his head back. After Ryong finds out he goes and infiltrated the White Horse Squads base.

Reunion

Woobok knows the current leader of the White Horse Squad very well. After She found out what happened she was very upset, but she didn't know that Ryong was already beating up all her men trying to save Woobok.

Anger

After one of the most powerful members was sent out to stop Ryong, he pissed him off by telling him that Woobok was already dead, then right when he was about to kill the guy the leader came out with Woobok and they left. That's how Ryong got acquainted with the White Horse Squad.

Information

The White Horse Squad is currently helping Ryong by giving him information about the 4 who betrayed his master, although everybody thinks they are dead.

Kidnap

There was a group trying to kidnap Doh Gyeom but Yeri got caught up with it, When Ryong found out he rushed over there to find her. He was worried that the kidnappers would all be killed, as the ghost protecting her will kill them.

Interfering

Gyeom was trying to kill his uncle for revenge but Yeri and Ryong interfered unknowingly and the two got into a fight. During the fight between Gyeom and Ryong, his uncle was able to get away. Ryong used one of the Pacheon skills that would normally abolish all martial arts so far. Gyeom was able to overcome the attack and became stronger. Then Ryong beats up Gyeom and leaves with Yeri.

Proof

The Qi of Ryong is the same as the 4 who betrayed his master. He felt the Qi and attacked the person behind the wall. It turned out to be Woobok. Woobok was able to absorb the Qi of one of the 4 and relayed the story to Ryong. Ryong knows for sure no that they are still alive.

Journey

Now that Ryong has a lead, he is heading out to find one of them to kill and get one step closer to achieving his goal of revenge.

Minion

On his journey, he helped some people and they repaid him by giving him somewhere to stay for the night. It turned out that the guy he saves was indebted to one of the 4 that he is trying to kill. The guy he saves tries to kill Ryong at the cost of his life but Ryong beats him. Ryong spared his life since he was helping a group of children and his heart is currently too weak to be able to kill somebody.

Deceit

He found a group of old men that he became acquainted with and traveled with them for a bit. While they were eating he was attacked, the old men were there to kill him.

Old Enemy

The leader of the bunch was Sa Pacheon. He was somebody that was able to defeat his master in the past although he did use underhanded tricks. The fight was long and Ryong almost died in the process. The old men helped him out as they were forced to be there and none of them like Sa Paceon.

One Down

24

He ended up getting saved by Gwi Yeong one of the people he is trying to kill. When he finds out he tries to kill him but Yeong's subjects try to stop Ryong. In the end, Ryong does not kill Yeong after much hesitation as the village relies a lot upon Yeong and he is helping people. After he had left one of the other 4 came up and killed Yeong and the villagers.
