A ship sails by as a child is born. That child is me. The sun shined down and it looked to seem a bright day for a birth of a child. But when my mother gave birth to me she died. The cause was unknown. My name is Feng Zheng Fu. We would later leave due to poverty. We hoped to gain many riches on the move to America. And I want to explain what happened with my time in America. Arrival to Angel Island
We were on the sea for what seemed forever. After a little while we see a mass of Green. And it seemes everyone knows we are here. I could feel the agitation of the crowd radiating off. Most people were sniffing with enjoyment. Others seemed a bit more skeptical. But, We finnally arrived and that is all that matters to me. -
Making it through.
Angel Island Information Seeing Angel Island was riveting. The bright sky gleaming down on the island. But going inside made the day seem duller. The men that worked there seemed glum and miserable. Some of the lights flickering on and off while the hallways were a light shade of grey. But when they tested me to see if anything was wrong it looked like I passed because they let me through. While I was walking away I heard him say "NEXT". -
The West Coast
The West Coast Walking on solid land not surronded by water was something I havn't done in a while. The sand underneath the wooden bridge seemed to glow. As soon as I got off the coast I set off on my journey. I headed towards the big mountain get a job. -
The Harder Life
So far throughout my life I have experience racism from Americans. Discrimination runs rampid in this Country. I now now why it is also called the Demon Land. We are dislked from many Americans. We took their jobs and they want to take our lifes. We have lived life in depression and in fear. Our life you can say is a box of TNT. Waiting to explode. -
1 Death to Life
My life has taken many downfalls. People have threatened to murder me. And many have tried. But I sit down with a gun pointed at my head, haunted by my past. The mans who job I took stands looking at me. Getting the Nerve to pull the trigger. And all I can do is. Sit here and wait.....
