This allowed products to made in very large quantities, at a very low cost and low quality. Products could be shared more easily between places with the start of railways playing a large part. The Breton Woods Meeting was held to create the World Bank as well as the International Monetary Foundation. These organizations were able to oversee money lending and currency across the world. Also, the World Trade Organization was created to oversee trade between nations. -

The Free Trade Area of the Americas proposed that there should be free trade between all parts of the world. This included all of the countries in North America, South America, and of the Caribbean, except for Cuba. -

Facebook was created in 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg and Eduardo Saverin. Facebook was another source for information to travel quickly around the world. People from all areas of the world are able to friend one another and communicate. Challenged such as the ALS ice bucket challenge spread across social media to help people form all parts of the world come together for a good cause.
