Panagiotis Zivach, the of the Filathlitikos Greek basketball team trained Giannis and his brother Thanasis to the best of their ability. -
Pro Basketball
In 2009, he represented the youth team of Filathlitikos until 2012. -
NBA Draft
On April 28 2013, Giannis qualified for the NBA Draft. He was picked in the First round, pick 15 in the draft by the Milwaukee Bucks. -
Rookie Season
In his rookie season he averaged 6.8 points in 77 games. This ranked him in the top for rookies. The Roster included, Ersan Ilyasova, Brandon Knight, Khris Middleton, Zaza Pachulia, O.J Mayo, Caron Butler. -
2nd Year
In Giannis's 2nd year, he came in as a better player with 12.7 points.
The Bucks made the playoffs losing in the first round to the Bulls 2-4.

Giannis advanced once again, averaging 16.9 points. Working hard to get better and better really increased his skill. Jason Kidd as coach didn't help as they had a record of 33-49 causing them to miss the playoffs and in 12th place in the Eastern Conference. -

Giannis came in the season strong ending with an average points of 22.9 points, he helped his team make the playoffs. They lost to the raptors 2-4. Giannis had a HUGE game 6 with 34 points. -
