Gandhi was born on October 2, 1869. He was born in Porbandar near Bombay. -
Indian Rights
in 1894 Gandhi founded the Natal Indians agitate for Indian rights. He did this in England and South Africa. -
Peaceful Revolution
In 1906 Gandhi began a peaceful revolution. He said he would go to jail or even die if he had to follow an anti-Asian law. -
Ambulance Corps
Gandhi organized an ambulance corps for the British. Even before going home back to India. -
National Congress Leader
In 1919 Gandhi became a leader in Indian National Congress political party. He did this by trying to make Hindu and Muslims no longer hate each other. -
Rebelled against British
In 1920 Gandhi launched a noncooperation campaign against the British. He was trying to make Indians spin there own cotton boycott British goods, courts, and government. -
Imprisonment
Gandhi was put in prison after he protested against the British. Also pushing the Indians to do all those things rebelling against the British. -
Collected salt
In 1930 Gandhi led thousands of Indians on a 200 mile march to the sea to collect there own salt. He did this in protest of slat tax. -
Indian won independence
Gandhi won the Indian independence. The subcontinent split into two countries India and Pakistan. -
Death
Gandhi died 1948 he was killed by a Hindu. He was on his way to prayer in Delhi.
