    The Holodomor was a death by hunger, man-made by the Soviet Union on the territory of Ukraine. The estimated amount of deaths by the famine are anywhere between 2 and 12 million. The UN officially regarded the Holodomor as a genocide in 2008. The Ukranian government made it illegal for the denial of the Holodomor as a genocide.

    Adolf Hitler took power of Germany under the title of "Fuhrer". The date of January 30 1933 is widely regarded as the start of the Holocaust. The Holocaust Hitler's plan to make the world clean of Jewish people, as a "final solution". The Holocaust caused the death of 12 million people through concetration, work, and death camps. People were killed who were seen as inferior.

    The Japanese Army attacked the Chinese city of Nanking. Naking civilians were shot and killed, women were raped, and people were taken from their homes. The Naking massacre would be denied by Japanese officials for many years.

    When Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge took control of Cambodia, they evicted people from their homes and forced them to live in the country. Through forced labour, starvation, and execution, 2 million Cambodian people were killed.

    Iraq caused the genocide of the Kurds in 1986. Having used poison gas bombs, Iraqi officials targeted Kurdish towns with the intent to cleanse them. Not only did the Iraqi government did not get called out for the mass killings, they also did not get charged with crimes against humanity for using poison gas.

    The Bosnian Genocide was acted out by Bosnian Serbs. The Bosnian Serb Army aimed at ethincally cleansing Bosnian muslims from Serbia. The cleansing took the lives of over 20, 000 people.

    Rwandan Genocide
    Starting with the assassination of assassination of Juvénal Habyarimana and Cyprien Ntaryamira, the Rwandan genocide was a full attack towards the Tutsi tribe by the Hutus. The death toll is estimated at 800,000. The Rwandan genocide was not prevented as a result of UN disregard.
