Let the Project Begin!
The question I will be researching over the next 6 weeks is:
How will going to the gym 2-3 times a week for 6 consecutive weeks affect my personal well-being? -
Week #1
3 Gym Sessions. So far, I've noticed it's really helping me sleep better than normal! -
Week #2
2 Gym Sessions. This week what I noticed is that I make healthier eating choices post workout. -
Week #3
2 Gym Sessions. Road Block: I have strep. Will I recover fast enough to return to school and this project on time? -
Week #4
3 Gym Sessions. Being more active has healing powers! Or at least, it really helped me recover from this bout of strep throat better than I ever have. -
Week #5
2 Gym Sessions + Dancing. This week I broadened my activity beyond the gym and had a lot of fun doing it. I also noticed that since starting this adventure I have experienced a huge up-rise in my confidence and self-esteem. -
Week #6
2 Gym Sessions + a Hike. This week I learned more about active living outside of the gym and also got to experience it with a friend. This was a great experience and made me want to continue this outside of this project. -

Today marks the closing of my Genius Hour Project.
I learned a lot about the benefits of being more physically active.
