Temujin escapes from enemy prison
After being enslaved by the Tayichi'ud, a neighboring tribe and his father's ex-allies, he escapes, therefore inflating his reputation even further, causing Jelme and Bo'orchu, who turned into his major generals later, to join him with their troops. -

Temujin marries Borte, who is soon kidnapped
Hoping to start an alliance with the nearby Onggirat tribe, Temujin decides to marry a woman named Borte from that tribe. She is soon, within that year, kidnapped by their rival Merkit warriors. -

Temujin gathers supporters to rescue his wife
After gathering over 400 supporters, he rescues her from the Merkit people, where she was someone else's wife. She later gives birth to their first son, Ogedei. -

Temujin is named Genghis Khan
After conquering all of the lesser Mongol tribes, he was named Genghis Khan, or the Universal Ruler. -

Genghis Khan begins conquering all of Asia
Starting with the Chinese kingdom Xi Xia, Genghis Khan storms across Central Asia, conquering everything in his path on his way to revenge on Shah Muhammad, who rejected Genghis Khan's peace offer in a most violent way. -

Genghis Khan begins his last campaign as ruler
To punish the conquered region of Xi Xia for being disobedoent, he leads his army to force Xi Xia to surrender, and eventually destroys the entire area, leaving no trace. -

Genghis Khan dies
Already old and weak at over 60 years old, he dies during the final moments of his campaign against Xi Xia. -

Mongol empire reaches its height
Under the rule of Kublai Khan, the Mongol Empire eventually reaches it's largest size, a peaceful area due to strong law enforcement. -

The Mongol Empire falls
Already slowly fading and becoming less prominent in most conquered regions, the Yuan Dynasty in China suddenly is taken over by the Ming, dramatically reducing Mongol Influence. Remaining Mongols retreat to Mongolia, whre they live in peace.
