Gandhi had studied law at the University of London, and soon graduated from there. He traveled to Bombay to continue his law degree, but was unsuccessful. Gandhi then traveled to South Africa where he was then very successful and was admitted to Supreme Court in 1893. (Used document) -

British Officials arrest Gandhi

In London, Gandhi was rewarded a “Kaisare Hind”. He was honored with this award because he was apart of the African Ambulance Corp. -

Bomb thrown during Prayer Meeting
As Gandhi was having a Prayer Meeting, other Hindus had thrown bomb during this time. Many nearly died and soon Gandhi was assassinated (ten days later) -
Death of "Mahatma" Gandhi
Gandhi was assassinated by religious finatic, whilst he was walking to his prayer meeting. He was 78 years old at the time. He was found dead at Birla House, New Delhi. 50 years later, his ashes were spread down the Ganges River.
