The Salt March
Gandhi and 18 other Hindus marched to the salt water sea, which was 200 miles away. Gandhi soon had gained almost 2000-3000 people who ahd marched with him about 12 miles a day. When they reached the sea, Gandhi gathered some salt. He had broken the law and he went to jail. -
India became Independent
India became an independent country. All of the fighting only got worse and the country split into India and Pakistan. -
Death
Gandhi died in New Delhi, India on January 30, 1948. He died during a protest and someone of his own kind assasinated him.
