    This date was the start of the Indian rebelion and it started as a mutiny against the sepoys of East India Company's army wich were the Indian soilders serving the british forces. This stasrted in the city town of Meerut, but then spreded all throughout India. In this picture we can see that the Indian people were really tired of the British forces.

    Gandhi was approached by Godse who fired three shots into him. Gandhi died soon afterwards with his final words being “Hey....Raam” meaning oh God. His death marked a period of intense mourning followed by an escalation of violence between Pakistan and India.
