Month 1 Mom
-Week 1 you're not yet pregnant, you're body is getting ready
-You're at the first fertile part in the month
-Finally the sperm and egg have merged into one cell
-Embryo attached to the wall of your uterus and the real work begins -
Month 1 Baby
-Cells start to divide
-Nerve cells start to develop
-The embryo is no bigger than a kidney bean
-The heart starts to form for the body to get food and nutrients needed -
Month 2 Mom
-You still cannot recognize your baby yet
Morning sickness is starting to kick in
-After the filtering the waste is then sent to the mother's blood stream
-You must watch what you take in -
Month 2 Baby
-Baby looks like a tiny collection of tubes
-Babies heartbeat has now started to beat
-Baby's body is now starting to form every organ it will need
-The baby has now graduated from embryo to fetus -
Month 3 Mom
- First ultrasound scan -You are told if you are taking care of your baby like you should -You could see your baby move -You start to sprout a baby belly

Month 3 Baby
-Baby starts to move
-Due date of baby can be determined
-This is the 2nd trimester
-Real defined eyes and mouth are now visible -
Month 4 Mom
-Her body becomes more protective for the baby
-You should be over morning sickness by now
-Screen testing can be done to check for down syndrome
-Your baby is now starting to move, but you can't feel it -
Month 4 Baby
-The nervous system is now starting to run
-Brain is controlling movement
-Fingers and toes are separated
-Bones are hardening -
Month 5 Mom
-You now start to feel movement
-Your sleep may be marked with weird dreams
-You start to notice more and more pee breaks
-Your uterus has reached your naval, your halfway there -
Month 5 Baby
-Baby can now open eyes
-The baby swallows fluid that they are floating in
-Eyes are now in correct position
-Kicks are now strong enough for you to feel -
Month 6 Mom
-You become more and more aware of movements
-Adomine keeps getting bigger
-Steer clear of long distance travel
-Movements may wake you at night -
Month 6 Baby
-Everything is developed and functioning
-First stimulation to the world
-Baby's senses are now turned on
-About the size of a head of broccoli -
Month 7 Mom
-Can hear the heartbeat by putting ear to belly
-You feel the baby move everyday
-May experience heartburn and leg cramps
-Might find yourself breathless -
Month 7 Baby
-20% of the time the baby is sleeping
-Swallow a pint of fluid each day
-Sucking needs to be perfected before birth
-Baby picks the dominance of the hand by the one they suck on most -
Month 8 Mom
-Your pregnancy may be starting lose some of its glow
-May notice a decrease in your baby's kicks
-There's a 1:3 chance you might have a C-Section
-Might be driving yourself crazy to make sure your home is ready for the new member -
Month 8 Baby
-Babies sleep with rapid eye movement
-Not much room left in the uterus for the baby
-Bones are now much harder
-The baby is now 12 inches long -
Month 9 Mom
-You're now feeling extremely uncomfortable
-You find yourself guessing when the baby will be here
-You're pregnancy is now considered full term
- You may find yourself leaving earlier than neccessary -
Month 9 Baby
-The baby will decide when it is time to go
-The baby weighs the same as a small bowling ball
-Baby gets in the birthing position
-When baby arrives all the fluid is drained out of lungs and air rushes in
