A man named Adam Purinton was accused of shooting two Indians in a Kansas bar. A bartender told investigators that Adam was at the bar using racial slurs before he began shooting. Authorities are still trying to investigate if it was a hate crime or just a random homicide. -
Dutch boat offering abortions to Guatemalans detained by army
On Thursday, Guatemala's army detained a Dutch boat that intended to help women gain access to abortions. Women on Waves is a program that helps women get abortions from Central America up to 10 weeks into the pregnancy. The Guatemalan army refused to let women on this boat because they were defending the preservation of human life and the laws in their country.
