First High School Homecoming
This was my first high school dance, and as always, I went alone. I had a great time with my closest friends. It was nice getting to dress up, go out to nice dinner, and dance the night away until 11 o'clock when the dance ended. -
JV Basketball Cheer
This was my first ever "sport" at Etowah. The girls on my team would always goof off before the games after running our routines. This was the year I earned the "Coach's Award" and was a season that I won't forget. Even though the games had a small crowd, it was great practice for cheering on the varisty basketball team the next two years. -
Cheer Camp 2011
This was my camp away from home and my first varisty camp. I was scared to go becuase I hardly knew anyone on the team, but once we arrived things got easier. I was rooming with the new girl at Etowah, and little did I know that she would grow to be one of my best friends. -
Braves Game
Everyone at Etowah seems to go to Braves Games now, but I've been going since I was a little girl. I took my best friend Samantha with me because this was her first Braves game after moving to Georgia from Texas. I won't forget this game because I was handed a practice ball from Jason Heyward and I grew closer with my best friend. -
Bonfires
My good friend Taylor Sasapan would always hold bonfires and movie nights at her house every Friday and Saturday night. We would all chip in on food and drinks and just hangout. I spend most of my sophomore year with this group of people, and I hadn't ever felt closer to anyone else. It was fun getting to goof off and be ourselves around each other. -
Tacky Christmas Sweater Party
The group of friends that always got together for bonfires was always about themed parties. This night we got together and wore our best tackiest sweaters and had a white elephant gift exchange. -
New Year's
I've spent every new years with this group of people since middle school, and I have never regretted it. We always play the craziest games, have the best food, and never stop laughing. It's just a happt environment to be in. It never seems to grow old hanging arounf these guys. -
Junior Year Prom
Even though only one couple in our group went to prom, it was great getting to dress up and have a nice dinner with my closest friends. It didn't matter to me that we actually weren't at thedance. I still had to chance to have a great night with my friends. We ended the night with a glow stick party at one of the girl's houses. -
My First 5K
I am not a runner. I never have been, and I never will be. My dad works for a personal training studio in Atlanta and asked me to participate in this run/walk with his employees. It may have been 30 degrees outside, but it was great getting to know new people and walk through downtown Atlanta. -
Lake Days
We ended our sophomore year with a cookout on the lake. The group and I spent the whole day playing in the water, playing lacrosse, and eating. It wasa great way to relax and put a good ending to our second year of high school. -
Church Camp
This was my first ever church camp with the church I go to now. We went to Myrtle Beach for the first week of summer. I was able to spend time with great people, hear the Word of God, and eat amazing food. It was an amazing way to get away from the world for a week and put my focus back on God. -
Cheer Camp Year 2
My best friend McKenzie and I made the All American team at cheer champ. This is a team that you have to try out for at NCA or UCA camp. The try out consists of a cheer, jump sequence, and dance routine that a cheerleader must perform alone in front of everyone at the camp. It was one of the msot nerve wracking things I have ever done. -
My Sister
My Sister, who goes by Lizzy, is one of my best friends. This picture was taken before we went to a show at the Fox Theatre. I love this picture of us because it is a reminder of how close we are. She has always been there for me when I needed her, and I know I can go to her about any problem I'm having. Not everyone gets to have a relationship like ours so I'm definately blessed. -
Last First Day of School
To most seniors, this day is bittersweet because we are now seniors, but it is also our last year to just be kids in high school. Over the years I've had so many different friends. I've had the chance to learn more about myseld than I ever imgained. -
Where I'm From
-
Dominican Republic
This was my first mission trip out of the country, and it was also my senior project. This was a trip that I will NEVER forget. I made so many new friendships and got to do something I never imagined I would have had the chance to. -
Acceptance to Kennesaw
My first college acceptance to the school I've planned to go to for years! -
Junior Prom
As always, I didn't go to the dance once again. We still dressed up, went out to dinner, then took our Hummer limo to play mini golf. Yep, I was that girl. I just enjoyed being around the people that I cared about and being around the people that could make me smile. Plus, I saved $60 because I didn't buy a prom ticket. -
