The Magna Carta is a document, writen by 40 rebellious barons, of written promises between the king and the people, and that the king would govern England and deal with its people. The document was written on June 15 1215 in England and this document influenced the american government because it henced americas liberties. -

The Federalist papers is a series of 85 articles and essays written by Alexander Hamilton, James Madison, and John Jay Promoting the ratification of the United States Consitution. The Federalist Papers was created to convince the readers of the paper to adopt the new consitution. -
Whiskey Rebellion
The new government, or Alexander Hamilton, had imposed excise taxes on whiskey. The taxes really fell on grian farmers in Pennslyvania, whos livelihood depended upon the beverage.The reason why Hamilton taxed whiskey is because the United States was suffering from a significant debt during the Revolutionary War, and Hamiltion felt it would lessen the financial burden. -
Dredd Scott v. Sanford
Dred Scott v. Sanford was a decision made by the supreme courts declaring that slaves were not citizens of the United States and that they could not sue in the federal courts. It was created becuase a slave named Dred Scott, and his wife, sued for their freedom in a ST. Louis city court. This decision led to the civil war. -
13th Civil War Amendment
The thirteenth civil war amendment was passed by the congress to abolish slavery in the United States.Many Africans Americans looked up to Presindent Abraham Lincoln, becuase he had a big part on ending slavery. This amendment was mostly for southern states because they felt ending slvery was a ridiculous idea, but the thriteenth amendment is one of a trio, and it greatly expanded the civil rights of americans. -

The National American Women Suffrage Association was a organization led by women to pursue the right to vote in different ways ; It was created in 1860s, in the United States. The reason it was created because women weren't getting the same voting rights as men and they fought to get those rights.
