Board of Education which ruled that made it illegal to have segregated public schools. On Sept 23, 1957 President Eisenhower sent in troops to lead the little rock nine into this high school, protected.

John Hinckley Jr tried to assassinate the president after he just spoke to the Construction Workers Union of the AFL-CIO. Hinckley was loaded with a 22 revolver and supposedly had bad aim and shot the press secretary James Brady , wounded a police officer and a Secret Service agent.
