Sections 1 - 4 The Vietnam War was a military conflict that occured in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos. This war began when North Vietnam invaded the south because they wanted Vietnam to be a whole communist country. This war lasted for 19 years, 5 months, 4 weeks and 1 day. -

Governor George Wallace who was against desegregation did not allow this and had polce men block all the entrances. Soon after, Kennedy helped the African Americans students inside the school which stopped segregation in the University of Alabama. -

Section 3 The Black Panther Party was founded in Oakland, Claifornia by Huey Newton and Bobby Seale. It was an African-American organization which used violence to end segregation They expanded to 19 states in the United states by 1968. The most members they had was 10,000 in 1969. -
Bobby Kennedy Assassination
Bobby Kennedy the brother of John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Los Angeles, California. He was an United States Senator and short after winning the California and South Dakota elections for the Democratic nomination for President of the United States, Kennedy was shot as he walked through the kitchen of the Ambassador Hotel and died 26 hours later. -
Landing On the Moon
Apollo 11 was the first manned aircraft to land on the moon. Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin both landed on the moon safely making world history. Armstrong became the first to step onto the lunar surface 6 hours later after landing. -

Sections 1-2 Nixon is the 37th President of the United States that serves 5 years. He resigns during the first year of the second term because of the Watergate Scandal. He broke into the Democratic headquaters and stole their files. Since he was the president, he got a pardon and was not put into court. -

Hurricane Carmen first emerged in Africa towards the end of August. It then moved to the Carribean sea then the gulf of mexico inside the United States territory. It was known to be an intense hurricane that no one was prepared for. It killed many people during the storm. -

Apple Inc. is a corportation that designs phones, computers, and other eletronics to sell. It is best known for their Macs and iPhones. Apple was created on April 1, 1976 by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne to sell the Apple I personal computer kit. -

Section 3 AIDS as known as the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome is a disease of the immune system. It's first case was with a San Francisco resident Ken Home, the first AIDS case in the United States to be discovered. The process first go from HIV which the virus is attacking your immune system, then the later effect is AIDS when your immune system is already damaged and cannot be repaired.
