    Which major event between 1950-1990 created the biggest impact on American History?

    The Civil Rights movement created the biggest impact in American history. Colored people began to fight for their rights in a peaceful or militant approach due to abuse. As segregation, and discrimination made white American superior, they would commit acts of terror to the black community. African Americans were tired of the abuse and decided to do something about it. For ex: school walk outs, sit ins, protests, and boycotts. This changed America because it gave colored people their rights.

    As colored people protested, they faced even more discrimination. So many people were put in prison. This lead to the Black Panther party. Which protected the black community and served it. Eventually they succeeded and were granted their rights. Discrimination was illegal, and so was segregation

Not only did the Black Panthers protect, they also ensured that they were not being abused, educated them on their rights, and posted bail for those arrested.
