National Aeronautics and Space Administration was created after the Soviets put their first satellite into space. The information they collect has to be shared to keep the world peaceful. -
Cuban Missile Crisis
It was the closest the US and the Soviet Union ever came to nuclear war. A discussion between Kennedy and Khrushchev resulted in the USSR dismantling the bases in Cuba in exchange for the US dismantling our missile bases in Turkey. -
