When Fannie Lou Hamer was speaking about her personal experience of racism and discrimination on live television, the president at the time, Lyndon Johnson, held a press conference on live television to cover up her story. It would become known that her story was covered up, and people began to televise her story after. -
Malcolm X's Assassination
While giving a speech, Malcolm X was shot dead in New York.
