ABC's
My mother taught me ABC and songs about the alphabet and started to hold crayon to develop my fine motor skills and practice to write A, B, C.. and also taught me to associate the alphabets with words. -
pre school
I learned to socialize with other children and learned more spoken words. Preschool reinforced the alphabets I learned as a toddler. -
My first picture book
As a child, I got a lot of hand me down picture books from my two older brothers. One day finally I got my first brand new girlish picture book. It was titled Cinderella! I kept it by my bed and try to read it and most of the time my mother read it to me. -
Pre-Kindergarden
During this time, I learned more about developing longer sentences and my language improved as the teacher worked with us in preparation for 1st grade. These lessons helped me to express my thoughts better and handle my pencil as a result I was able to understand and communicate things with my peers better. -
1st grade
Because of the lessons in kindergarten, I was able to follow my first grade teachers instructing well. -
6th grade
During this time I was able to read, write, and speak properly. -
8th grader
At this time I was able to finish the whole book and write using better vocabulary. I was excited because I was reading and writing confidently. -
10th grade
By this time my writing has improved more.. Because I have learned to support my ideas, and tell the story better than I did before. -
graduate
As I graduated from high school. I thought I was ready but meeting the demand worried me. I have good standing in all my classes, so Graduating High School was good. I was looking forward to go to college no matter. -
college
I was ready for college. I worked hard and I was able to meet the demand. Learned public speaking, presenting information and able to write and communicate on an academic standard. My reading, writing, understanding and critical thinking is improving every day as I am still in college.
