With the invention of the printing press people were able to create books, newspapers, and phamplets a lot faster. The two main groups that used the printing press were the protestant reformation and the scientifc revolution. -

This invention reovlutionalized communication of normal people. This allowed information to travel faster than ever. Eventually it led to the invention of the mobile phone. -
Stock Market Crashes
It was the end of World War I and everyone was enthusiastic to invest in the economy. They were buying on margin, so most people couldn't afford the stocks if the market crashed. 5 days before the crash, 12.9 million stocks were sold. Four days later on the Tuesday, the market crashed. This resulted from 16.4 million stocks being sold. -
Pearl Harbor Attack
Japan had a suprise attack on the United States by blowing up their battle ships in Pearl Harbor. They attacked two different times, but failed to damage any American aircraft carriers. This event killed more than 2300 people. -
Atomic Bomb Hiroshima
This bomb brought an end to a firece and costly Pacific war. Japan finally surrendered and the threat of nuclear war still hangs over the world today. -

The first computers that are available for personal homes are manufactured by Macintosh and IBM. This allowed us to further ourselves from type writters and digitally manipulate writings, letters, and books. -
First Moon Landing for America
There was a space race between America and Russia. Being the first on the moon, and in space, was necessary for the national security. It took place after World War II because they both captured German rocket technology. -
Berlin Wall Falls
The wall was finally torn down seperating east and west Germany. This represents the end of the cold war. -
World Trade Center
Two hijackers took over two planes and crashed them into the World
Trade Center. Many died and risked their lives to save others. This event led to higher security for airplanes and other communication shipping.
