Bulgaria wanted more territory, so they fought with their allies to get it. This is significant because Romania got Bulgarian capital Sofia.

Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary assassinated in Sarajevo by a Serbian activist. This is significant because most people state that this is what started World War I.
