Preliminary Task
When i started the project, i had very little idea of producing a magazine and all the stages this includes. -
Photography:Beginning of the year
Also the process of doing the photographs was tricky as initially i had problems with the lighting and the lens, the lighting wasn't very flattering, casting shadows around the eyes of the model, this was because i positioned the light too far to the side -
Editing: Beginning of the year
The most challenging part, was learning to use and control new programs for me like Photoshop or editing in publisher. I had never really worked properly before with them and i find it quite challenging, like cropping the images or adding shadows and effects, dealing with the magnetic lasso tool was tough too. -
Research: Beginning of the year
At the beginning of year i didn't have much idea about the media industry, i learned some basic skills from researching during the preliminary task like color theory. -

Planning and Magazine Research
These stages start in Research & Plan which helped my to understand this new world and how to make a proper magazine with all the components needed to make it different in the market. To have a better preparation and idea i had to analyse many different magazines, not only sport ones, also music or fashion ones, this helped me to plan and explain my decisions. -

To have a better preparation and idea i had to analyse many different magazines, not only sport ones, also music or fashion ones, this helped me to plan and explain my decisions. By analyzing a wide variety of magazines, i also learned to choose the correct patterns of colors and aesthetics of the picture based on the magazine style. -

Final Production
I think that as everything in life, with practice everything improves learning from mistakes, it also helps if you have the luck that i had having experienced partners in class that made constant constructive critiques to keep quality up. -
Photography: Final Magazine
In my final photo shoot, i played around more carefully with the lighting making sure that its near to the camera and taking as many photographs as possible, which in fact was another thing that i corrected as my first photo shoots lacked variety, quantity and quality. -
Editing: Final Magazine
My editing improved mainly because practice and asking for advice to teachers and pupils, also i watched many YouTube videos that helped me with specific things like magnetic lasso or how to deal with the backgrounds.
