    Middle Ages
    This is about a Germanic king named Charlemagne. He was a king and when he died the empire broke up. At that point when the empire broke up there were no strong governments that were up and running to help withstand invaders. Then a new political and social system arose in the 1000s called feudalism where kings gave land to the nobles. The nobles gave the kings military service for exchange for land. The kings military service stated to becoming into knights and warriors to protect the kings.

They limited freedom for the poor peasants and made them farm for the kings and nobles.

    This is about a Arab named Muhammad he was on the rise to get followers of islam also known as muslims. They spread out through out the Southwest Asia and North Africa into parts of Europe. Which then start to alarm the Christians. The nobles gathered volunteers into large armies to win back the holy land. But the crusades had a major impact on the Europeans. The black death killed about 60 percent of Europes population. They were fighting to stay alive from the black death but most died trying.

Yet the religion of Islam was founded in the A.D. 600s by a Arab guy named Muhammad was on the rise to get the people of islam to become his followers also known as Muslims spread through Southwest Asia to North Africa And even parts of Europe. They gained control of Palestine alarming Christians who considered this the holy land.

    This is about when parts of Europe started to recover from the black death. The Renaissance word in french means "rebirth". They are Florence, Rome, Venice. Then they used Scholars and artists for the wealth for the merchants for their trading. Then poets, sculptors, and painters such as Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci which they created stunning masterpieces. And over time the renaissance ideas and practices spread from Italy to other parts of Europe.

    The Renaissance was known for the rebirth of Europe thats what the French called it. Europe started to get interested in art and learning after the rebirth of Europe ended. Merchants in the city-states had gained great wealth through their trading with Asia and the Mediterranean world. Then they used this wealth to support scholars and artist. People started to take interest in the cultures of ancient Greece and Rome.

    The Renaissance led people to think that the humanism idea led people to think about the new religion for a new way of life. In the mid-1500s different protesters dominated northern Europe but the roman Catholic church remained strong in the southern Europe. The wars between the roman Catholic churches and protesters swept through parts of Europe. Then the reformation Started to fall But it gave strength to the monarchs. Kings and queens started to claim more of the authority for themselves.
