    In 1271 C.E. Marco Polo was an explorer. He traveled to Asia it took him 4 years. When he arrived he saw a palace it was covered by real gold and silver. The ruler when marco went was Kublai Kahn. He was born in 1254 C.E. and died in 1324 C.E.

    In 1521 Hernando Cortes took over the Aztec Indians. Motecuhzoma thought Cortes was a god Quetzacoatl so he welcomed him in peace, but Cortes took Motecuhzoma as prisoner and the Aztecswere wipped out.
