Charles II went back to London, everyone was full of Joy. Charles II also reestablished the Church of England, not only that, but he urged toleration for the Protestants, Presbyterians, Quakers, and the Baptists. Charles II had no problem with Parliament because he made sure he didn’t make the mistakes as his father.

James II takes over throne, due to his inheritance from Charles II. James II practiced the Catholic faith overtly. James II put Catholics in office, which caused several English protestants to fear James II would want to bring back the Roman Catholic Church.

Before crowning Mary and William Parliament passed the English Bill of Rights, Mary and William had to accept the Bill. The Bill made sure they were superior to monarchy. The House of Commons had the right to control the money. The king or queen had no more rights to interrupt parliamentary debates. Roman Catholics weren’t allowed to sit on throne.

After the British throne had been passed on to George I, a German prince, the cabinet was introduced into the government system. George I was helped by Parliament, later George I had a son, George II which came with parliamentary and created a policy named the cabinet.

Wealthy landowners increased agriculture production, which lifted up farms and took over lands. Tenant farmers and small landowners lost their homes and lands due to this. The wealthy landowners controlled Parliament meaning everything they did was okay because they were able to have laws passed saying their actions were legit.
