    In his early years, Henry was not supposed to become the king. His brother, Arthur, was the eldest son, and was planned to be the successor to the throne. However, Arthur died at the age of 15, making Henry the heir at 10 years old. Because of this, not much is known about his early childhood, However, it is known that in his youth, he was strong, athletic, and handsome.

    This annulment was also due to her age, as she had become too old to have more children, and had not birthed a male heir
    She was ultimantly stripped of her title of Queen and seperated from her surviving daughter, Mary

    Act of Supremacy of 1534
    The Act of Supremacy stated that the king was the head and authority of the Church of England. Henry wanted an annulment in his marriage to Catherine of Aragon, which the Pope denied. Because of this, Henry could get an annulment of his marriage without the concent of the Pope.
