Charles I
The son of King James I and had a conflict with the Parliament, he couldn't get money from the Parliament to support his army with the war with Spain and France. So he disbanded the Parliament, because he couldn't get his money from the Parliament. They created the autumn of 1641 laws which was to limit the kings power.

Charles II became the king after Oliver Cromwell and the people rejoice as the coronation happens it was called the restoration. The Habeas Corpus was put on to grant a prisoner it's freedom to be in trial before he is sent to jail.

Glorious Revolution
It was to overthrow Charles II to avoid the reign of Catholic kings. They asked help from the daughter of Charles II who was a Protestant and the wife prince William of Netherlands. Prince William led an army to overthrow the king they were successfull. During their coronation they agreed that the Parliament would be there partner and the Bill of Rights was made to limit the rulers power.
