    In 1612 John Rolfe in Jamestown Virginia, began to import west Indian seeds to use for personal pleasure. The tobacco seed being imported to America caused a solid trade between Jamestown and West India. It also led to trading within the colony itself.

    The currency act of 1751 regulated the currency in the colonies of the USA. This was to help protect merchants from Great Britian in the United States. This helped set in motion more economic growth in the Americas by creating a regulated currency and eventually helped boost the American economy leading to the revolutionary war.

    This date marks the first time that people have made it to the moon, The mission costed 355 million dollars. America had won the Space Race and beat the Soviet Union even though they were the first ones launch a satelite.

    The internet is made available to the public. After the public release of the internet, its use skyrocketed for several reasons. It made communication much easier and reinvented the way people talk. It greatly helped electronic advertisement and helped provide jobs. The internet provides 300 billion dollars ot the U.S. economy. If not for the internet, powerhouse corporations such as Google, Apple, and Microsoft may not have been created and certainly would'nt be as profitable as today.

    Not only did Islamic Terrorists crash into the Twin Towere, but they sent the American economy into a downward spiral. After the attacks on the building, the United States began its "War on Terrorism". This war that was started turned the American economy downward as huge sums of money went into fighting foreign contries that were beleived to have terrorist activity. This war with terrorism which was started because of this attacks can eventually be linked with the recession that hit the U.S.A.
