Planetary Accretion
The formation of the planets and our solar system began at around this time at 4.6 BC. Gravity caused a molecular cloud called the solar nebula to collapse, forming the sun in the center, while the other mass spread out, forming the other planets. This is how the core of the Earth formed. -

Planetary Cooling
Planetary cooling is what caused the Earth to become a molten planet. After the core of the Earth was formed by rocks, astroids, meteors, and comets, planetary cooling started at around 4.5-3.8 BC. Volcanic eruptions allowed there to be magma, which cooled and created the Earth's outer core. -

Core Formation
The formation of the core happened when rocks came together to form the different planets. This happened around 4.4-4.6 BCE -

Formation of the Moon
100 million years after the planets were formed, (4.4-4.6 BCE) the moon was formed as well when a huge astroid hit the Earth and it caused debris. The debris was trapped in an orbit around Earth and became the Moon. Over time, gravity caused the moon to be round. -

End of Heavy Bombardment
Around 3.8-3.9 BC, intense astroid and comet bombardment affected all the planets.
