This church was started by Martin Luther who was a catholic church priest. He wanted to reform the church as he saw that the church was saying that you can buy yourself salvation. When he reformed it, the Lutheran Church started. -
Baptist Church
The Baptist Church started because they believed cleansing with water takes away sins. -
Methodist Church
The Methodist Church started when John Wesley and his brother started a group and devoted them selves to study, prayer and helping the underprivileged. This goup got called "Methodist" as the way they used "rule" and "method" -
Apostolic Church
The Apostolic Church was led by Apostles who gave the Holy Spirit to believers through the laying on of hands in order to prepare them for the return of Christ, which they expected at any time. -
Latter Day Saints
This church started when a boy named Joseph Smith prayered to God asking what religion he sould join. Jesus appeared to him and he was told that the Church Jesus started was not on earth anymore. From that he was chosen to create a new Church. -
Anglican Church
The Anglican Church started because King Henry the Eighth had many wives and wanted to divorce his wives. The Christian Church said that he wasn’t allowed to do that, so this is when he started his own Church. -
Uniting church
The Uniting Church started when the Methodist, Prebyterian and Congregational Union said that they were similar and choose to unite.
