Students know exactly what behaviors are expected and how they are rewarded. They also know the consequences and supports when they are not. -

We currently offer a new array of electives: Music program, academic Computers program, Student Engagement program -school newspaper, leadership, yearbook, etc.-, in addition to Yoga, Spanish, Fun with Math. -
Face lift
The front of the school will be repainted with sharper and brighter colors. It will be landscaped to showcase the architecture of the old historic building. -
Stronger school culture
New electives will be strongly established. Students will feel a stronger link to the school, more respect for education, staff and for one another. We will offer extra-curriculars such as Peer Mediation, Mindfulness, GSA, School Garden, and other community building activities. -
Common content and expectations.
Stronger experienced and new staff will have collaborated to create common pacing, units, priority content and skills. -
Common grading.
Staff will have common grading standards and procedures that reflect real learning. -
New track
Competition standard running track and soccer field. -
New Library and New Tech Lab.
Our library will have been expanded and remodeled. Flexible and mobile furniture, high interest books, research stations, active workshops. A tech lab will offer video, audio, and technology exploration, and their application to real projects. -
School remodel
Our 1938 building will be remodeled to reflect the transition from a library to a learning commons, from a computer lab to a work lab, and from single row single desks in the classrooms to group tables and flexible furniture.
