Kennedy's Assassination
Today was the day that I witnessed the wounds of President Kennedy. I was the first doctor who saw Kennedy when he came to the hospital. I was not able to resuscitate President Kennedy. The president spent about thirty minutes in the hospital before he was pronounced dead. -
Chief of Surgery
I came to Seattle in 1974 and became the chief of surgery at Harborview Medical Center. -
Chairman of Surgery
I became the Chairman of Surgery in 1983 at the University of Washington. Only nine years after I was given the title as the chief of surgery.
