    This section of the rehabilitation act poof 1973 guarantees that disabled people in america can have access to free public education at the same quality as everyone else. It makes it elligal to deny disabled people into public school systems or other programs funded by the government. It also requires there to be an alternate education program for the disabled if they require extra assistance.

    Voting Accessibility for the Elderly and Handicapped Act of 1984
    This act aimed to promote the right to vote for handicapped by requireing that all locations holding voting poles be accessable by disabled people. If this was not possible for some reason, and alternate means of casting a ballot was required for those not able to reach the poles. It also required regisatration and voting aids be available to the disabled if they needed it.

    The act made it illigal to discriminate against disabled people in air transportation services.They are to be trated just like all other passengers and required to be assisted by someone if they need it. All planes were required to have certain features that made it easier for disabled people on planes. All planes were required to have a ramp onto the plane for those in wheel chairs.

Also it makes requirements to make all buildings and structures accessable for the disabled with things like ramps, elevators, and other equipment.

    This act ensures that disabled people will have access to telecommunication devices (phones, pagers, etc.) that they are able to operate. It requires the provider to make in usable by people that have disabilities. This is for any disability, including people hard of hearing and with speak imparements. They are required to add features to help with any disability.
