The chalkboard came about in the 1800s it was used in education by the teacher to teach the children lessons through writing on the chalkboard, although this was a good way to allow children in the class to see what you was writing and talking about there are some disadvantages such as being unable to save what you had wrote on the chalkboard for further lessons . -

Used for children to listen to , there are some educational however it has some disadvantages as children are un able to communicate with a teacher to discuss questions they may have about the information they are learning about. -

Used to engage children in a different style of learning still images with audio to teach children. -
MICRO COMPUTER
The computer began to be used in some lessons for children to learn through different resources. New and exciting for children however did not have many resources for the children to use. -
EDUCATIONAL TV
Used to engage children in their learning using a more interesting and exciting way to learn. However there are some disadvantages to this as the children may not take much informationa way from the televison series and could cause distruption in class for the children. -
TABLETS / SMARTPHONES
Used for the internet and different educational purposes , using websites and apps to learn throgh playing games. This is a current type of technology that children find engaging and motivational as it is an exciting way to learn.
