A political protest by the Sons of Liberty; they gathered others and dumped all the tea into the harbor to protest against British Rule. They were mad because parliament passed the Tea Act and raised taxes, and they were forced to house British soldiers -

Articles of Confederation
It was a document the was signed by the 13 founding states of the United States of America and served as it's first Constitution. The articles were weak beccause, they didn't allow the government take taxes, congress couldn't collect debts, and congress couldn't settle disutes among states. -
Shays Rebellion
Daniel Shays started a rebellion aginst the government for taking their farms for taxes. -
Constitutional Convention
Its purpose was to revise the Articles of Confederation, but they ended up writing a whole new Constitution. -
Great Compromise
It was a combination of all the plans. The Virgina Plan, The New Jersey Plan, and Senate, and House of Representatives. -
America Divided
America was separated into two groups, Federalists and Anti-federalists. Federalists, thought the Constitution was perfect and had limited power. Anti-federalists thought the Constitution was too powerful and needed a Bill of Rights. -

Anti-federalists approved the constitution, but only if it had a Bill of Rights.
