Started in Rome with rats carrying the disease. It started to spread to places becuase of trade. Many died from the disease, leaving their family with lots of money. -

The Renaissance was known as the Rebirth of Europe. It started in Italy because they were the first ones to recover from the Black Plague. The Renaissance was a time of trade, communication, peace, and culture. Everyone was able to share their talents because of the inheritance of money after the plague. It was a celebration of life. -

Machiavelli wrote a book titled The Prince. The book was about wether it was better to be loved than feared, or feared than loved. Machiavelli stated that it would be good to have both, but it's more important to be feared than loved. -

The Printing Press
At the end of the Renaissance the printing press was invented, it was moveable type and was created in China. Johann Gutenburg created it so literacy could improve.
